Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Othman Aziz confirmed that GST rate will not be affected in Budget 2017 which will be tabled on 21 October 2016. The GST rate will remain at 6% and is sufficient for the Government to manage the national economy and help the working class despite the tough challenges.
