Millennium Delight Sdn Bhd, a fast food company in Shah Alam was fined RM9,000 after pleading guilty to three counts of failing to submit the GST statement to the Customs Department. The company failed to submit the GST statements for the tax period of 1 April 2015 to 31 May 2015; 1 June 2015 to 31 August 2015; and 1 September 2015 to 30 November 2015, as stipulated under s 41(1) of the Goods and Services Tax Act 2014.
